Studio de Lostanges

Founded in 2019 by two sisters, Louise and Jeanne Tresvaux du Fraval, the Studio de Lostanges brand reflects their commitment to artisanal know-how and Brittany. Together, they create contemporary silhouettes, crafted from sustainable materials, in contrast to the pace of industrial production.

Founded in 2019 by Louise and Jeanne Tresvaux du Fraval, Studio de Lostanges breathes a sea breeze into fashion. True to their Breton roots, the two sisters create timeless garments woven with expertise and sustainable materials. Brittany, a land of technical textiles and traditions, remains their home. It is there, in precious factories, that the studio's pieces are handcrafted: a wardrobe of timeless essentials, designed to last, far from the frenzied cycles.

In Bréhec, facing the tides, the studio creates a fashion of economy and elegance: pure lines, noble materials, a muted palette. Each annual edition reveals carefully selected fabrics—cotton poplin, raw metis, woven wools, glass buttons—to write a sensitive story on the skin. Heavy, densely knit sweaters, protective capes, heavy canvas coats: the silhouettes evoke the workers of the sea, those robust figures shaped by the wind. Each garment bears its serial number, its story, and is nestled in a glossy envelope, like a precious object.

In Bréhec, Studio de Lostanges has written a contemporary ode to Breton craftsmanship. A unisex wardrobe, raw and noble, inspired by seafarers and crafted by hand.

2025 EDITION

For its 9th edition, Studio de Lostanges presents a collection paying homage to the sailors of yesteryear: varnished wooden Breton clogs, hand-numbered by a letter painter, and silhouettes inspired by seaweed harvesters and naval restorers. Two new pieces with a nautical look join the wardrobe: a dense and soft merino wool polo shirt, and a functional sweater structured by a tight collar and raglan sleeves. A unisex wardrobe, sturdy and free-spirited, designed to last through the seasons and eras.
